Core Message
The Triumphant Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem
=> Jesus gave His disciples an instruction to go into the town and bring Him a new donkey that had never been used, and He told them to tell anyone who challenges them that the Lord needs the donkey.
=> If Jesus desires something new, then our lives and all we do must also desire something new.
=> A new thing adds beauty and color to your life, but you have to desire it.
=> A new thing also brings about a new name.
=> Regardless of your challenges, you can be called a new name. God can stir up a new name for you. Psalms 34:19.
=> It is the plan of God for us to experience something new.
Case Studies
=> Elizabeth, John the Baptist’s mother, was called barren after many years of delay in childbearing. But after an encounter, God gave her a new name. Luke 1:36. After she gave birth to John, no one ever called her barren again.
=> Joseph’s brothers thought he wouldn’t amount to anything. Genesis 37:20. However, as a result of what they did, Joseph was called a new name. Genesis 41:41.
Four Things
1. Believe your story cannot end until God says so.
=> God is the center referee in the affairs of your life, and He won’t blow the final whistle until you are done with your journey.
2. Pray your way into the next chapter of your life.
=> Don’t allow any force or power to kill your prayer life.
3. Keep making sacrifices through seeds. Genesis 8:22.
=> Financial breakthrough happens through fasting, prayer, and giving.
4. Regularly anoint your head for a new thing and a new name.
=> Keep a bottle of oil around you and anoint your head every day before you go out. You don’t know when the oil will speak.
Key Takeaways
1. Don’t see your coming to church as a routine. Instead, see every Sunday service as a time of fresh encounter.
Case Study: The woman with the issue of blood. Luke 8:43-48.
2. If you don’t come to church with the mindset of encounter, you won’t partake in the prophetic unction that is released from the altar.
3. Understand and make use of every season you find yourself.
4. Our faith rests upon the foundation of Jesus’ resurrection.
5. Our Saviour: The only one who died, rose, and is still living. Our Lord Jesus.
6. Do not allow this Easter season to pass you by without an encounter.
7. The life of a man is in chapters. Some chapters will be filled with challenges, but you must be determined not to give up on that chapter.
8. With an encounter, you can be called a new name.
9. Your success in life should not be determined by what someone else has. God has created you to live and fulfill your own life, not someone else’s.
10. If there is any record you need to break, it is your last achievement. When you continue to exceed your last achievements, you are progressing.
11. Stop fighting with people when they call you names. Instead, cry to God to do to you what will make people call you a new name.
12. Your future is not in the hands of man. It is God Almighty who will determine it.
13. People may take some things from you, but do not let them take your dreams and ambitions.
Prayers
1. I decree and declare that any battle in my life that is promoting a negative name, today, that battle is over.
2. Lift up your right hand: “My Father, My Father, do in my life today and this year, what will make people call me by a new name.”
3. Lift up your hands and eyes to heaven: “My Father, My Father, change my story in the presence of those who have written me off. Lift up my head, and give me a new name in the presence of those who have written me off.”
4. The glorious future I am aiming at and what to step into, anointing, and power that will take me there, fall on me today.
Daily Declaration
As you anoint yourself every morning, always make the declaration for the “anointing for a new name.”
