MISSED OPPORTINUTY LEADS TO SETBACK IN LIFE (Tuesday, 2nd June 2026)
Text for Today: Ruth 2:1-15 “Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this.” (vs. 5).
Breakthrough is the end result of opportunity that meets with preparation. One opportunity used wisely can change your life dramatically. However, when we spend our time looking at what other people do or what they have, we deprive ourselves of the opportunity to see our own value. We will never be able to recognize opportunities if we don’t recognize all that we have and all that we have been given. We all have the opportunity to create the life we want with the choices we make. Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. Life will always bring our ways diverse opportunities irrespective of your colour or race.
However, the question is, what have you done with several opportunities given to you in the past. The fact that you failed yesterday does not mean you will not get new opportunities, but the truth is that those who made good use of their opportunities yesterday must have gone ahead of you already. Whatever you do with fresh opportunities that come your way will determine your fate thereafter. From our text for today, we could see the case of a young woman, who was very disadvantaged in life based on what happened to her in the past. When she followed her helpless mother-in-law (according to her own words) back to her country, one would have thought her destiny was already sealed. But that was not the case because God brought her way another lifetime opportunity which she never wasted. May God almighty bring your way great opportunities this month.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Eccles. 9:1-11.
