DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU ARE HERE? (Monday, 8th June 2026)

John 18:30-38 “Pilate therefore said to Him “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come to the world.” (vs, 37a)

Do you know why you’re here was a golden question I asked a young man that God used to reset his mind and pursuit in life. The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for. And it’s really unfortunate because too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears. Life never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.  Whoever does not know his reason for living will end his journey on earth with a disaster. Knowing why you are in a place will help you to maximize all the opportunities that come your way and make something great out of your stay there.

Since the Bible admonishes us to look up unto Jesus, who is the author and the finisher of our faith, we have no choice but to live a life of purpose like He did. Jesus knew exactly why He was born; John 18:37, “For this reason I was born and for this I came to the world to testify to the truth”, and that was all that Jesus thought about, prayed about, planned for, worked towards, sacrificed for, died for and rose again for, and finally accomplished. By fulfilling His purpose, He changed the world forever. Beloved, do you know your purpose for coming? What are you doing to achieve it? God’s plan for your life was set before you were born at all, even while you were still in your mother’s womb. (Jer. 1:5). Therefore, you must discover your purpose in Him and follow His path because if you don’t follow His path you will miss His best for your life.

You are a champion!
