COME UP WITH GREAT PLANS FOR THE SECOND HALF OF 2026 (Wednesday, 8th July 2026)
Text for Today: Gen. 1:26-31 “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…..” (vs. 26a).
Those who plan ahead end up walking into greatness in life. Happenings in life are direct product of plans clearly set out and executed by the person involved. Whoever goes out each day without clear term plans will end up becoming victims of other people’s agenda and wishes which will not give him what he wants in life. God Almighty works with plans and is fully committed to His plans. Thus, for the next couple of days as from today, we shall be discussing covenant steps to take as covenant children in making great plans and as well as executing our plans so as to see our dreams for this second half of the year being fulfilled.
The Bible teachings about making plans are firmly entrenched in the Word of God. Our text for today says, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” (Genesis 1:26). That is clearly a plan, which God carried out thereafter and brought about the first man and woman. “God blessed them; and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea…’” (Genesis 1:27). That verse sounds like God delegated some work to you and me and expects results. So, the question comes, what is a good way for making plans? As from tomorrow, I will be sharing with you seven steps that will launch you to where you want to be.
