Don’t Allow Dry Season To Disconnect You From God
Text for Today: Ps. 30:1-12 “Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” (vs. 5b).
The number one target of the devil in bringing so many adversities our ways is to kill our faith, thereby stopping us from trusting God. No wonder Jesus warned Peter in Luke 22:32 that, “I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Dry season is one of the seasons we experience in this part of the world (Nigeria-Africa). It basically happens between October-April, lasting a period of seven months.
There are also dry season spiritually for those who are very sensitive to the things of the spirit. It is a period of loneliness, total discouragement, struggles, rejection and the likes.
Dry season is inevitable in life; however, with wisdom and God’s backing one can overcome it. There will always be a time in the journey of life that a man goes through dry season.
The rich, poor, young and old have their share of it. During that time, it will look like you don’t know how to do things properly. You also need to know that, whatever you are going through God is able to bring you out of that affliction into comfort.
However, above all, your attitude during your dry season will determine what happens to you eventually. Do not allow the devil to snatch your faith away, or else you are gone.
You must never stop praying, never stop trusting God, and never go down to “Egypt” as a child of God during your dry season. You must also mind the kind of relationship you go into during your dry season. Also remember that, dry season don’t last forever.
You are a Champion!
