HE’S TOO HOLY TO CONDONE ACTS OF WICKEDNESS (Friday, 13th February 2026)

Text for Today: Luke 18:1-8 “I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (vs. 8).

Our God is the fair and just God, who will never allow injustice and wicked acts to go unpunished, particularly when the victims and the helpless cry unto Him in prayers. One of the covenant names of God, which gives us hope as covenant children no matter what the enemy may be doing is, “God of Vengeance.” There are people who enjoy tormenting and afflicting others for no just cause, simply call on the God of Vengeance to visit them with His judgment. Like I said few days back, you need not to offend the devil and his agents before they come after your life. The fact that you identify with the gospel has made you a target of their attack.

We have so many accounts in the Bible of those who the God of Vengeance came to their aid and put their enemies to shame publicly. It was the God of Vengeance who fought for Daniel when they plotted against him, and threw him into the lion’s den. All those who plotted against him were the ones who got consumed by the lions with their wives and children. It was the God of vengeance who also came to the rescue of the Israelites, when Pharaoh and his army planned to destroy them and bury them in the Red Sea. However, it was Pharaoh and his entire army that perished in the sea. I want you to know that there is a higher power you can take your matter to anytime the wicked ones come up against you. Whenever someone tries to withhold what rightfully belongs to you, then report the matter to the God of vengeance, the “Defender” of the defenseless.

You are a Champion!

Further Study: 2 Kings 4:1-7.

Covenant Prayers

  1. Father, I thank you for always fighting my battles for me.
  2. Lord, thank you for not allowing the enemy to overpower me.
  3. Lord, arise for my sake and avenge me of all my adversaries.
  4. My adversaries shall be put to shame this year in Jesus’ name.

QUOTE: “YOU MAY BE HELPLESS AT SOME POINT, BUT YOU ARE NOT HOPELESS.”
