DON’T STOP TAKING STEPS OF FAITH (Tuesday, 11th August 2026)
Text for Today: Hebrew 12:1-14 “Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross….”(vs. 2).
Those who give up on their pursuit midway don’t celebrate at the end of the day. The journey to the throne will remain a difficult and turbulent one for whoever fails to comply with laid down divine principles that will take him there. Wherever you desire to be in life has a way that leads there, and there are divine principles that will show you the way. Beloved, I want you to know that, not a few have stayed on the same spot for many years complaining of not knowing the way out, while the solution to their problem is just very close to them but they failed to access it. Whatever God has given you power to do yourself, if you wait for anyone to do it for you, be ready to wait till eternity.
Taking the right steps is a sure way to getting whatever you desire in life. However, some people are either afraid to take steps or are complacent with the issues of life. What you need here is a quality decision on your part to make it. It only takes a small act of courage to start but a big daily dose of it to keep going because you’ll feel like quitting a thousand times before you get to the top. Where can you get that kind of courage and tenacity to move forward as a covenant child, from three things namely, the time you spend with God, the books you read and the relationship you get into? Hebrew 12:2 – who for the joy that was set before him, endured the pain… when you think about the joy you will have i.e. the day of accomplishment, then you will endure painful struggle and rise above discouragement and setbacks. The joy of knowing that, day by day you’re getting closer to your goal.
