DON’T SUFFER BECAUSE OF WHAT RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO YOU (Thursday, 30th July 2026)

Text for Today: Ps. 82:1-8 “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High.” (vs.6).

Many covenant children are suffering today over what rightfully belongs to them but they don’t know how to possess it. The devil is a bastard, because he is an expert in sitting over the inheritances of others and making them to lament all over for it. Until you know a thing belongs to you and rise up to fight for it, you can never have a taste of it even when it’s right there before your eyes. I often say to them in our church times without number that, “Whatever you do not know belongs to you can never add any value to you.” Even when that thing is the survival string you need to get out of a situation, if you do not know that you can access it, your situation remains unchanged.

God is not just thinking of what to call you; He said you are gods, over situations and circumstances. Do you believe in it against the backdrop of your daily challenges such as lack, anxiety, sickness, failure, bad-luck and all of life’s issues? You are gods! When we recognize our inherent identity as gods, and the underlying capabilities, we would marvel at what influence we should wield over sickness, disease, sin, etc. Arise and exercise your God-given authority. Christ Himself authenticated the fact that children of the Most High God or believers are gods. Our status as children of the Most High invests in us the potentials of gods. We should therefore arise and occupy our rightful place as gods, exercising our authority without subjecting it to perversion and sin. Ye are gods, begin to rule and reign. I charge you to take charge NOW!

You are a champion!

Further Study: John 10:34-38.

Covenant Prayers

  1. Father, I thank you for how you made me and what you call me.
  2. Dear Lord, give me grace to become a “god” over situations of life.
  3. I shall not cry before any storm of life any more.
  4. Father, give me grace to arise and exercise my God-given authority.
