GO THROUGH YOUR PROCESS, DON’T RUN AWAY FROM IT (Friday, 31st October 2025)
Text for Today: Jud. 11:1-11 “Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him.” (vs. 3).
When you see any man on the top of the ladder of destiny, you have simply seen a man who was patient enough to go through his ordained process in life. Some turnarounds are instant, but many other turnarounds are a process. God is masterful in how He delivers turnarounds. He will turn some things s-l-o-w-e-r when we need time to adjust to our breakthrough. The turnaround is simply bigger than our capacity to sustain it. God doesn’t want you to have a turnaround only to lose it because you can’t sustain it. That is a word for us personally and a word to us about our nation. When things are shaking and changing, know that He is in that and setting the stage for turnarounds.
Some will be instant, but others will be a process. When things are turning slowly, we don’t sit and we don’t quit. We stay active in our assignments because the vision will come on time. There will be a divine turnaround. Going through the scriptures, we have several accounts of covenant children who had to go through some forms of process before their turnarounds happened. People like Joseph, Jephthah, David, Hannah, Esther, Mordecai, Hezekiah and many more. From our text for today, who could have thought that a young man who goes out raiding with miscreants would eventually become the leader of a nation. He was rejected by his own blood brothers and even driven out of his father’s house. That was his own process he had to go through before his turnaround took place.
