God’s Mercy Is Always Above The Antics Of The Evil Ones

Text for today: John 8:1-11 “They said to Him, Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act.” (vs. 4).

When mercy speaks over a destiny, there is nothing anyone can do to bring it down that will ever work out. All through the Scriptures and even in our time, the man that enjoys God’s mercy is always above all the antics of the evil ones.

You need to know that, there are people who don’t like you and they don’t believe in whatever you are pursuing, and they will like to validate their stand by ensuring that you don’t succeed in life. Thus you must daily ask for God’s mercy to be at work in your life.

Such people are always on the lookout for things to accuse you of. Once they identify a flaw in what you say or do, they pick you up on it immediately and gather more facts in order to get you convicted.

That is why your mind must be made up to succeed no matter what the adversaries may say or do. From our text for today, those who didn’t believe in the vision and ministry of Jesus Christ, saw the case of the woman who was caught in the act of adultery which under the law is punishable by stoning to death, as a ploy to trap Him.

The woman was brought to Jesus to hear His opinion so that they will hold it against Him. But God is not a man: His ways are different and so are His thoughts higher.

They were totally disappointed by Jesus’ judgment. God is merciful and His mercy knows no bound. Irrespective of the trap the enemy might have set ahead of you, the mercy of God will make a mess of it, and the enemy shall be put to shame.

 You are a champion!
