Great Things Are Accomplished With God’s Help
Text for Today: Ps. 3:1-8 “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” (vs. 3).
Even in our imperfections, good things, even great things are accomplished with God’s help. If God cannot help us, no one can help us. If God does not move men to help us, we cannot attract such help. Remember the word says my help is in the name of the Lord.
In our text for today, we see what the Psalmist says, “O Lord I have so many enemies so many are against me. So many are saying; ‘God will never rescue him.”
We get inference from this that looks like people have concluded on our issue and that God will not help you. But I have a good news for you today that God will not just help you but will also elevate you to the next level in Jesus’ name.
There are some things we take for granted that we shouldn’t. Sometimes we blame situations and circumstances for our predicament when we don’t get help.
It’s very important to know that there is a spirit that blocks help and also a spirit that attracts help. You must fight hard in prayers to overcome these evil spirits that stops help from coming to you.
Jos. 5:9 “And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.” Note that it wasn’t Joshua who rolled the reproach of Egypt away but God.
On the other hand, in John chapter 5, a man battled with an infirmity for 38 years and the situation remained unchanged because his life was barren of help, until Jesus came around and healed him supernaturally. You will not lack help.
