HAVE A STRONG FAITH IN GOD’S PLAN AND TIMING (Saturday, 6th September 2025)
Text for Today: Luke 19:1-6 “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” (vs. 5b).
Having a strong faith in God’s plan and timing for your life is very crucial to your fulfillment in life. Believing that your hour has come to succeed and stand out is the surest way of becoming your dream in life. When you do this from time to time, it fires you up to do the needful that will provoke your desired change in life. That was exactly what happened to Zacchaeus from our text for today, who believed his hour has come and he did everything within his power to make it happen. Oftentimes, we hear people tell great stories of other people of how God had lifted them from nobody to somebody. Those narrations are always full of dramatic and seldom heart-touching scenes that one begins to wonder what that person in discourse did that attracted the favour of God in his life.
Most times, those stories are narrated to build up the faith of others. Now, a point of concern is this: when will people tell your own story or relate your testimonies to others? That is why you must believe God that your hour has come to be celebrated in life. The Lord said the hour has come for your generation to celebrate God through your life. The hour has come for people around you to relate your testimonies to people all around. The hour has come for people to come around you and begin to congratulate you for what they knew has eluded you for years, but suddenly became manifested through the power of the Almighty. I’m persuaded that, someone going through this devotional today shall see the raw manifestation of God’s power in his life this month of September.
