Text for today: Ps. 145:1-16 “You open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” (vs. 16).
Desire is where we seek to go beyond ourselves into a new realm. Desire, not a small desire – but a burning desire, is what makes the difference in a man’s life.
The intensity of your desire governs the power with which the force is directed. Napoleon Hill says and I quote’ “The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind.
Weak desires bring weak results, just like as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. ”Whoever has no desire goes nowhere in life.
How far you go in the journey of life is dependent on the strength of your desire. Whatever cause you embark upon with a strong desire can never end in frustration.
Men of strange desires secure strange results. From our further study for today, Zachaeus had a desire to see Jesus; his desire became a driving force and a passion to him (Luke 19:1-10), he pursued it and it came to pass.
Some people around him even envied the end result of his desire. Beloved, I want you to know that, your desire will always bring helpers of destiny across your way.
The sycamore tree rendered help to Zachaeus, when it looked like nothing good was going to happen that day like the other days. When desire meets with help, breakthrough happens.
Don’t kill your desire. Use it as a link to achieve your goal.
No matter what the enemy might be throwing at you, never let them get your desire. Your desire produces passion. A life without passion has no drive. When nothing drives you to achieving your goal, you will end up being driven to an early grave.
You are a Champion!
