HE DID SOMETHING WITH HIS LIFE AFTER THE REJECTION (Monday, 13th April 2026)
Text for Today: Jud. 11:1-11 “Then they said to Jephthah, Come and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon.” (vs. 6).
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone, is always the testimony of a man that God comes to his rescue in the face of rejection. As long as we remain here on earth, in our dealings with men, they may let us down and disappoint us in some areas we least expect it. However, the ability to look away from whatever evil people did against you yesterday and focus on your dream and goals in life today, is the key to a life of fulfillment. Whoever continues crying over the disappointment of yesterday will watch his dream waste away right before his eyes. Your life today is more than what happened yesterday, and it is what you do with it that determines whether you will go far or die a nobody in life.
From our text for today, those who rejected Jephthah earlier came back to beg him because Jephthah did something with his life after the rejection. There are a lot of people out there who are living miserable lives just because of what some people did against them in the past, when they could have done something to turn it around. When a man shut a door against you, move to the next one, you will be surprised someone is waiting right there at the door to welcome and celebrate you. After Jephthah was rejected by his own blood brothers, he kept on doing what he knows how to do best, developing his skill, and that was why he remained relevant and they came back to beg him. If you stay on the same spot because men rejected you, you are in big trouble, and no good thing will come your way at all. Wake up and do something with your life.
