HOW TO EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF HIS PRESENCE (Sat Oct 10)
Text for Today: Mark 1:35-39 “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” (vs. 35).
Every covenant provision and covenant of God will always come with responsibilities. There are covenant steps a child of God must take, if he wants to enjoy God’s presence continually. The first one is that, DO NOT JOKE WITH YOUR QUIET TIME. You must plan to have a quiet time with the Lord daily and regularly, it is the time when you will pray meaningfully and study the word of God diligently. The Bible says that Daniel prayed three times a day. You too can. You can however choose the very early hours of the morning when everywhere is quiet or late at night. You should also decree the word of God throughout the day from time to time.
Secondly, DO NOT NEGLECT THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE SAINTS. Do not be the Christian who misses services. Do not make this last quarter of the year a period when you only attend church services when there are special programs. Have a consistent attendance of God’s fellowship. The third one is that, ALWAYS HUNGER AND THIRST FOR GOD. Live a clean and yielded life and always seek the things of the Lord. God is by your side; there is no distance between you and Him and He is always ready to listen to you and hear your pleas. Worship Him in spirit and in truth; go before Him the way He wants you to. And lastly, PRAY THAT HE SHOULD SHOW YOU HIS WAY. The little time you spend in His presence will clear away every form of confusion from your mind. No matter how confused and confusing a situation is, the presence of God will bring order into that situation.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Dan. 6:10-28.
