NIGHTMARE IS A MONSTER YOU MUST NOT PERMIT (Thursday, 27th November 2025)
Text for Today: Prov. 3:21-35 “And when you lie down, you will not be afraid, yes you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.” (vs. 24).
This siege of nightmare is a dangerous tool in the hand of the devil, he uses it to torment and afflict men who lack the understanding of God’s Covenant promises regarding rest. There are countless stories and tales of how the devil battered many lives through the instrument of nightmare. If nightmare is not crushed on time, it can crush its victim and make him lose everything he ever had and begin to run from pillar to post endlessly. Nightmare also has a target of ultimately cutting short the lives of its victims abruptly when divine intervention is not accessed in good time. Very many times, nightmares have turned to become a reality in the life of its victim.
Sometimes a man gets afflicted with a strange illness after he had a nightmare that he was on the sick bed in the dream. It was God that removed the scepter of the wicked from his life eventually after we engaged in welfare prayer. Some people regularly eat in the dream, some see themselves in a spiritual family with a spirit husband or wife and some have sex in the dream. Many people have been thrown into a life of endless struggle, pains, and misery through the siege of nightmare. It is not God’s plan for your life. Thus, you must get up and confront it to a standstill before it brings your destiny to a standstill. If a nightmare is left uncrushed, it causes stagnation, delay, rejection, sickness, hatred and untimely death. The remaining days of this year and beyond, I admonish you to engage in spiritual warfare prayers, and you will triumph over it in Jesus’ name.
