NO STORM RAGES FOREVER (Tuesday, 20th October 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Tim. 6:1-14 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called….” (vs. 12).
Someone said and I quote, “If you can’t hold on, you can’t enjoy the glory.” Every man who will ever get to his throne in life must be determined to hold on to his dream until it becomes a testimony. Dreams are meant to become testimonies, if we will choose to hold on to the end. As we continue our study on the subject of determination today, because of its importance to whatever this last quarter will deliver unto us, I cannot but remember what happened many years back. After the Tsunami flood disaster, I was watching CNN as they were interviewing and relaying the news of the disaster.
A man gave the story of what happened to him during the flood. He said that as the flood carried him and others he suddenly saw a rope hanging out and he held it. As he was holding the rope he saw dead bodies and debris passing him with great speed. He said that he was determined not to let go of the rope knowing that his survival is dependent on his holding on to the rope. The difference between him at that moment and the dead bodies around him was his ability to hold on to the rope. He not only survived the Tsunami but also was able to save a little child he was carrying while he held the rope. It took every breath and strength in him to hold on to the rope until the flood subsided. Beloved, it does not matter the intensity of the storm that may be ragging against your life as we speak, if you don’t let go it will surely end one day. Beloved, I want you to know that, “NO STORM RAGES FOREVER.”
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Luke 18:1-8.
