YOUR PRESENT SITUATION IS NOT YOUR FINAL DESTINATION (Tuesday, 5th May 2026)

Text for Today: 1 Sam. 17:20-49 “Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine.”(vs.26).

Those who refuse to be distracted will always have something to celebrate at the end of their assignment. Stay focused on your destination, even if your path may seem stormy today. Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination; the best is yet to come. And sometimes, it is the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination. And take note, you will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks. Whoever cannot look beyond his immediate environment and visualize into the future will become the greatest enemy of his dream.

If Abraham had not looked into the future as God instructed him, he wouldn’t have become the father of Isaac, not to talk of the father of nations. When you’re being pulled in multiple directions at once, take time to remember what you value most.  Focus on what’s most important to you, and you’ll naturally direct your greatest energy to the right source. Life is filled with either problems or possibilities.  What you see is what you choose to see.  On the surface, life can seem tumultuous and perplexing, yet deep inside, where it truly matters, life is what you make of it.  Choose to see beyond the problems to the possibilities that await your attention. What a great move David made from our text for today. When he got to the battleground and saw the insult Goliath passed on to the army, including King Saul, he made up his mind to put an end to it. David looked beyond Goliath; he was more concerned about the reward, the glory behind the problem.

You are a Champion!
