Only Failures Try Something Once And Forget About It
Text for Today: Heb. 10:19-25 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (vs.23).
The things I have ever done successfully in life are those things I consistently focus on and kept doing until the result I desired is delivered. Those who give up easily over their pursuit don’t matter in life, in fact they are forgotten easily among men.
Consistency is a major key to attaining your goals in life. What you do consistently for a period of time sums up together to give you what your heart truly desires.
Only failures try something once and forget about it because they didn’t see the expected result from the onset. Doing a thing over and over again without losing hope draws you closer to your destination in life.
Every day, choose to take whatever next steps the Holy Spirit leads you to take. Don’t give up when you’re frustrated that your progress is slower than you’d like it be.
Instead, remind yourself that God works on an eternal timetable, and pray for the strength you need to be patient and persevere. Ask God to help you avoid becoming distracted, and to encourage you whenever you feel like quitting so you can carry on.
Since consistent, faithful steps ultimately lead to victory, eventually every step you take will result in something worthwhile. From our text for today, any of the covenant insights you lay hold on, be it praying, confession, warfare, and many more, engage in it consistently without wavering until you see the desired result.
Always ask God for grace and strength to hold fast to your belief and confession without wavering, irrespective of the difficulties you may face along the way.
