SOME PEOPLE ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE, KEEP MOVING (Tuesday, 9th December 2025)
Text for today: Neh. 4:1-15 “But it so happened, when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, that he was furious and mocked the Jesus.” (vs.1).
One of the bitter truths you must understand and come to terms with is that some people are impossible to please; you will not be able to break through to them no matter what you do. Accept this harsh position as a fact of life. Throughout your lifetime, some people will discredit you, treat you poorly, and disrespect you for no just reason at all. Don’t weary yourself by trying to change them or win their approval. And don’t make any space in your heart to hate them. Simply walk away and let karma deal with the things they do, because any bit of time you spend on them will be wasted.
Stop giving credit to those who discredit your dreams. These people are punishing your potential capability by slowly exiting your inner flame with their watered-down vision of what you are capable of achieving. If you give in and let them negatively convince you of who you are, their madness will wither you away, and you will morph into who they say you are, rather than living honestly as yourself. In this way, these people will steal your life vision from you. You will lose track of where their opinion ends and your life’s story. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. What you are capable of is not a function of what others think is possible for you. So, look beyond their presumptions and mental limitations, and connect with your own best vision of what you are capable of and how your life can be. Life, after all, is an open-ended journey, and 99% of what you achieve is directly from what you work to achieve on a daily basis.
