STAY HUMBLE TO EXPERIENCE A TRUNAROUND (Monday, 29th December 2025)
Text for Today: Phillip. 2:1-11 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” (vs. 5)
God is the giver of grace to the humble to live a life of humility on earth and be in harmony with others. I charge you to always consider the interest of others in all your dealings, and do nothing out of selfishness and conceit. Another covenant tool for experiencing a turnaround is HUMILITY. A proud man can never be on the list of those God will usher to a season of turnaround. Humility is a state of being humble, meek, lowly and modest in everything you do. Since the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, man has become selfish. When God asked Adam why he did what he did, he transferred the blame to Eve, while she herself shifted it to the serpent.
A humble man does not run away from his errors. Humility is one of the attributes of a good believer who is aiming at a trunaround. Among the apostles, Paul and Peter made remarkable teachings on this. Paul in his epistle to the Philippians stressed the need for a sense of humility among the believers and society at large. As at the time Paul wrote this message, great disunity existed among the Church and this hindered the Church from getting to the heights God desires for them as a result of lack of humility. He used the case of Jesus Christ to show them what humility is all about. I charge you today with words of exhortation to cloth yourself with humility. I want you to know that God resists the proud, but gives more grace to the humble. I pray for you today, as you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, in due time, He will exalt you in Jesus’ name.
