THE DEEPER YOU GO WITH GOD, THE HIGHER YOU GO IN LIFE (Saturday, 29th August 2026)

Text for Today: Dan. 11:29-35 “…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” (vs. 32).

Many children of God are wasting away the abundance of power and grace they have the opportunity of tapping into by virtue of their relationship with God, because they lack understanding of how it operates and how to access it. For instance, in our dear country Nigeria, there are several funds earmarked by the federal government to help people with small scale businesses across the country which many people are ignorant off and therefore fail to tap into it. And for several years only a few continue to enjoy the facilities over and over again, while some of the officials involved will also siphon a large percentage of the funds earmarked through fraudulent means, and the government will keep on saying that they have empowered millions of small-scale business owners.

In the same way, according to our text for today, those who have a deep knowledge of who their God is will carry out diverse exploits that will shock everyone around them. Beloved, it is practically difficult to draw any virtue from someone you do not know what he possesses. God has no limitation in releasing virtues upon His children if they will seek to know Him very well. Your knowledge of God will determine your height in life. One of the covenant keys that made Abraham and Daniel to stand out among the fathers of faith was a strong and deep relationship they had with God. The deeper you go with God, the higher you go in the world of men. A life of exploits becomes your heritage as you seek to know God very deep.

  1. Father, I thank you for the privilege of being alive today.
  2. Lord, give me grace to set time aside to commune with you regularly.
  3. Father, as I commune with you, show me the path to greatness.
  4. Dear Lord, make exploits to become cheap for me as from today.
