THERE IS A POWER BEHIND WHATEVER YOU SEE THAT IS WORKING (Sunday, 22nd March 2026)
Text for Today: Acts 4:5-17 “And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this.” (vs. 7b).
For as long as the earth remains, men will continue to search for power to get things done in life. Whatever you see happening in life and around you have a force, either physical or spiritual behind it. This is because nothing happens on its own; rather things are made to happen. During the last 25 years, that I have been in full time ministry, God has taught me many things about living a life full of spiritual power. The most important thing is that walking intimately with Him and having a strong depth in His Word are essential for Him to release tremendous power through us. I’ve been blessed to witness the demonstration of His power through me thousands of times in the lives of countless people.
Another thing I’ve learned about God’s power and gifts is that although they flow out of His grace and are activated by faith, personal preparation in the areas of character, integrity and holiness enable us to sustain a constant flow of His power through our lives. No wonder the same staff of Elisha that failed in the hands of Gehazi, worked wonders in the hand of his master. That is the place of personal preparation in form of character and integrity. From our text for today, the Pharisees were shocked by the miracle that took place and wanted to know the source of their power. They knew the healing that took place couldn’t have happened by human or any physical power. Beloved, I want you to know that you need divine backing to make a difference in life. As you keep developing yourself, may God Almighty find you worthy in Jesus name.
