YOUR DEEDS TODAY SHALL BE A DETERMINANT OF YOUR REWARD (Friday, 19th December 2025)
Text for Today: Rev. 22:12-17 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with Me, to give to everyone according his works.” (vs: 12).
Those who are watchful of their deeds today will have peace of mind tomorrow. God is a good Rewarder and can never owe any man. There is none of your deeds that will go out without a reward showing forth. Everyone is a major determinant of the kind of rewards he gets in life by virtue of what you did in the past, and the things you are still doing today. In 1 Cor. 13:11, Apostle Paul said, “when I was a child….” I like you to understand that our adult state of Christianity is above our state of natural infancy, in which we understand only as children understand. Speak only a few broken articulate words, and reason only as children reason. Having few ideas, little knowledge, and having no experience.
It is a common thing for a child to think that when you do something bad to someone, you can go scot-free, especially if you have someone by your side. Also, a child will always want you to give him/her something for the good thing he/she has just done. As you go out this morning, consider the text of today and note that whatever you do here on earth, will not go unrewarded. So, in your office, school, shop or even at home, you need to know that your reward will surely come one day. The rewards for whatever you do, whether good or bad, righteousness or unrighteous, is up to you. Your deeds today shall be a determinant of your reward. My questions to you today is what do you want your reward to be? I charge you today, always do good, and you will daily be rewarded in Jesus name.

- Father, I thank you for the gift of life of seeing today.
- Oh Lord, everywhere I have laboured, let my reward come to me.
- Whoever says I shall not be rewarded shall be put to shame.
