HE HAS BEEN GOD BEFORE YOU WERE BORN (Saturday, 17th January 2026)
Text for Today: John 14:19-24 “He who does not love Me does not keep My words…” (vs. 24).
Whatever a man claims to know or have must be seen through his actions and deeds. It is hypocrisy to claim to know or have something and your action is saying otherwise. When you love a man or a woman and have regards for him or her, you endeavor to do whatever will make him happy. Whenever a father gives instruction to his children, he expects them to comply with it fully, and when they do that he showers them with much love and care. Going against what your father or your mentor says is an act of disrespect for him. In the same way, when we go through the Bible diligently we will see several instructions and kingdom principles, God expects us to follow without any reservation towards them.
God is always looking out for those who show their love to Him via obedience. Absence of complete obedience towards God’s word is a sign that you do not love Him. Your complete obedience to God is a sign that you love Him. You can choose to rebel by disregarding His instructions. I want you to know that this doesn’t affect God’s nature; it will simply affect and bring you down in life. I often say to them in our church that, “Whatever you chose to do or not do, can never change who God is.” Beloved, to harden one’s heart toward God is the supreme act of rebellion, and in doing so, a person hurts himself far more than he hurts others. Humbly receiving God and His word, on the other hand, brings good into one’s life. When you choose to love and obey God, you can be sure He will guide you to the top.
You are a Champion!
