BE CAREFUL OF HOW YOU REACT TO HAPPENINGS IN YOUR LIFE (Friday, 19th June 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Sam. 30:8-20 “And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.” (vs. 19).
Whatever happens to a man is not as important as how he reacts to it, because that will be the way out. God can restore what is broken or stolen and change it into something amazing, all you need is faith. It is a habit for the enemy to steal what does not belong to him, but our God is more than able to restore it back in multiple folds. Have you lost anything in life? Have you been laughed at or pitied in life? Have you fallen from the grace of this world? Are you in a helpless situation? Do you think God has forgotten you? Are you confused in life? It doesn’t matter how much you have lost in life, just know that God will restore.
He said in His word that He will restore the years that the cankerworm and the caterpillar has eaten, Joel 2:25. He also said for your shame I will give you double Isaiah 61:7, concerning your health. He said I will restore health unto you Jeremiah 30:17. No matter what you have lost God will give to you a sevenfold restoration Proverbs 6:31, in Jesus name. From our text for today, David’s household and his city had been taken captive by the Amalekites, in fact people spoke of stoning him because the souls of people were grieved. From 1 Sam 30:8-9; “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” From 1 Sam 30:18-19 “So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away…., David recovered all.” As many that are reading this message now, congratulations for you shall recover all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
