ALWAYS LOOK UP TO GOD FOR DELIVERANCE AND NOT UNTO A MAN WITH LIMITATIONS (Saturday, 20th June 2026)
Text for Today: Acts 3:13-24 “whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.” (vs. 13b).
The man with insight enough to admit his limitations and relies on divine backing, comes nearest to perfection, because he will not live a deceitful life. Man’s limitation is real and only those who are under the covenant of God will be privileged to prevail over it. 1 Sam. 2:9 says, “By strength shall no man prevail.” Any man that relies on the power of flesh will be ridiculed out of any venture he embarks upon. No matter the strength or capacity a man may claim to have on earth, a man will remain to be man. It does not matter the title he possesses or the connection he may have, nothing can remove the limitation of man.
From our text for today, Peter referred to the trial of Jesus Christ before Pilate, during which the later did all he could to let him go, but the people stood their ground. Beloved, I want you to know that, no man can do what God does not permit. Also, in Daniel 6:14, the Bible says, “And the king, when he heard these words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.” He knew Daniel was an innocent man who became a victim of envy and evil gang up and conspiracy. However, no matter how hard king Darius tried, those who plotted evil against Daniel were determined to terminate his life. The only thing that can stop the wicked ones from executing their evil plan is divine judgment. Thus, I charge you to always look up to God for deliverance and not unto a man.
You are a Champion!
