Stay Connected To The Real Source Of Power

Text for Today – Luke 8:22-26 “Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” (vs. 22).

There are powers and there are powers, but I like to say to you that, there is no power, no matter how strong it may be that can stand the power of Jesus. What the enemy does is to make some funny noise so as to scare and terrify those who are not connected to real power.

All through the scripture, those who are connected to God never get defeated or molested by the power of the enemy. There is no one who put his trust in God that will be put to shame. Such had never happened and it will not happen now.

It is through that the devil is always on the rampage to steal, kill and destroy, but the promise of safety is sure for those who are connected to Him. It does not matter the number of times that the devil may come around either to tempt or destroy you, as long as you are in the same boat with Jesus, he will continue to fail.

From our text for today, the devil came all out to sink the boat where the disciples were, forgetting that Jesus was right there with them, what a mistake. Never allow anything to lure you out of the covenant boat you are in with Jesus.

Beloved, I want you to know that Jesus may not stop the storms from rising, but He will certainly calm them down for you and never allow it to hurt you in any way. When you have Him in the boat of your life, you can always call on Him like the disciples did when there was a storm.

This second half of the year, I pray for you that, you will not drown in the sea of life in Jesus name.

You are a champion!

Further Study: Luke 8:26-37.

Covenant Prayers

  • Father, I thank you for being there for me always since January.
  • I command every evil storm before my journey in life to be still.
  • I receive courage and boldness to confront every storm on my way.
  • I shall not get out of the boat of Jesus which I’m in presently.
