ONLY GOD ALMIGHTY CANNOT BE LIMITED (Friday, 24th July 2026)

Text for Today: Acts 3:13-24 “Whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.” (vs. 13b).

I was preaching to them in the church recently on the subject of Divine Connection, and I said, “It does not matter how strong or influential you may be in some areas of your life, there are other areas you are weak and you need God’s help to make headway.” It is God who helps our weaknesses and causes us to excel in areas men may have written us off based on some prevailing circumstances. From our text for today, we could see clearly how Pilate became helpless before the people who brought Jesus before him for trial and judgment. Pilate knew quite well that Jesus was innocent, but was helpless in rescuing him from the hands of this heart hardened accusers.

The accusers were determined even before bringing Jesus to Pilate that Jesus must be killed, thus there was no amount of persuasion that could prevail on them not to. Beloved, this tells you that man has his limitations, and that is why we must always put our trust in God Almighty, who is able and even more than able to see us through any difficult situation. No matter the strength or capacity a man may claim to have on earth, a man will remain a man. It does not matter the title he possesses or the connection he may have, nothing can remove the limitation of man. God will always to be God, and He chooses to do whatever pleases Him. Ps. 121:1 says, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills – From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Only God is your help in time of trouble.

You are a Champion!
