God Has The Final Say

Text for Today: Hab. 2:1-4 “The vision is… for an appointed time……though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come. (vs. 2).

Don’t let time make you doubt what God told you would happen. If God said it, it will surely come to pass.

Time will make you impatient but God is an “On time” God; just relax and watch Him confirm His word. Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not worry, not wonder, not I imagine, not obsess.

Just breathe and have faith that whatever God has promised will surely come to pass. Isaiah 14:24 says, “The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand.”

Going through the scripture with a study of all the fathers of faith, you will discover that God kept all that He promised them. Also God visited them at the most appropriate time that showcased His glory.

God is a God of order; everything He does is by appointment. An appointment is simply a meeting or event that has already been set up.

God has a scheduled time for bringing to pass two things in your life: His promises and His purpose. You can count on that! The problem arises when we try to become impatient because we think time is going and thus try to move faster than God’s timing.

When the Lord gives you a promise, it’s like a seed; it needs time to take root and bear fruit. You must learn the difference between what you can do and what God can do. Fools rush in, but if you don’t want to risk delaying the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life, learn to wait.

Each time you get anxious and impatient remind yourself, ‘My life cannot end without certain things happening.

You are a Champion!
