There Is No Victory Without A Battle

Text for Today: Is. 54:11-17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.” (vs.17)

Victory is always possible for the person who stays connected to God, who refuses to stop fighting. No matter what you are going through in life, always remember Deut. 20:4 which says, “The LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory!”

There is a permanent outcome for those who gang up against covenant children, and that is failure. As long as you remain in God, the enemy is bound to fail in all his enterprises against you. To prosper is to be successful or do well.

There is no normal person who does not want to succeed or do well, including those who pretend that it does not matter to them! But there is something that will not prosper against a child of God… in our text for today the Bible says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

Wow! Sometimes, people use diabolical means, sometimes it is slander, sometimes outright lies, sometimes conspiracy or whatever else. As long as you live right as a Christian, and believe what God has to say on the matter, no weapon formed against you shall prosper! Hallelujah!

So it will all come to nothing at the end of the day. Just maintain a sweet spirit; walk in love towards all and God will continue to fight for you.

It is His responsibility to defend you. Isn’t that humbling? If God is for us, who can be against us? Of course, sometimes people have been against you and they will still be in future. That is why you must never toy with your walk with God.
