GOD HUMBLED THEIR ENEMY RIGHT BEFORE THEM (Saturday, 14th February 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Sam. 11:1-15 “And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, “On this condition I will make a covenant with you, that I may put out all your right eyes and bring reproach on all Israel.” (vs. 2).
The world that we live in is full of so many wicked acts, that only those who abide under the shadow of the Almighty shall be exempted. At times when one considers the evil activities of some wicked people in the land of the living, one will be tempted to ask if they created themselves, and never think of the future. The hearts of some men are full of evil, and they still rejoice over it. From our text for today, King Nahash vowed to remove the right eyes of all the people of Jabesh Gilead, as a way of making covenant with them. He wanted to bring reproach upon an entire nation and make a mess of their lives. He wanted the people to become the laughing stock among other nations.
I decree today that, any man or woman in form of king Nahash around you that wants to make your life a subject of mockery and reproach shall fall down and die in the name of Jesus. There are people around us today who are descendants of King Nahash, the Ammonite, who wish to bring serious pain and catastrophe upon our lives. When this evil king rose up against the people of Jabesh Gilead for no just cause, they were totally helpless. However, the “Defender” of the helpless came to their rescue and put the evil king to shame and crushed him through King Saul. This year 2026, the Lord will raise help unto you, and you will triumph over those that once oppressed your life. Your king Nahash shall be put to shame by fire by force. May your life become a wonder to everyone around you in the name of Jesus.

- Father, I thank you for being my shield and fortress.
