God’s Counsel Is Incontrovertible Right From The Foundation Of The Earth

Text for Today: Rom. 8:31-39 “What shall we say to these things, if God is for us, who can be against us.” (vs. 31).

There are many devices in a man’s heart, nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand (Prov. 19:21). That is incontrovertible right from the foundation of the earth up till now, and so shall it be forever; and only a fool will dispute that.

Whoever is always bothered and demoralized by men’s opinion and what they say will never go far in life. Yes, every man is free to have his opinion about you and your dreams, and such  will either build or pull us down, depending on how you respond to it.

We have both the positive and negative opinions. They create ceiling above which we cannot go beyond if we always listen to and give attention to people’s negative opinions.

That’s why it is important to understand clearly God’s counsel for your life and stick with it. You wouldn’t be so critical of yourself or so conscious of the opinion of others, if you really know how God feel about you.

Stop running from person to person looking for love or seeking for men’s approval. Simply open your Bible; it is a living love letter, a statement of intent from a father who wants nothing but the best for His children. Ps. 33:11 says, “The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations.”

Beloved, I want you to know that God’s love for you is set on a concrete; it has no cut-of-point. And that’s the foundation you can build your life on.

It does not matter what situation and circumstances may be saying, focus and believe in what God’s word has declared about you.
