CONSTANT GROWTH IS NON-NEGOTIABLE FOR A CHAMPION (Tuesday, 22nd September 2026)
Text for Today: James 1:1-12 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.” (vs. 12).
The day a man stops growing and increase in knowledge, he begins to depreciate. Growth is something that is permanent in the journey of life. Be it physical or spiritual, growth is a common denominator across the globe and all spheres of life. Everything we do in life must experience constant growth for us to find fulfillment in life. However, growth does not come easily in life; it comes with its attendant challenges and difficulties. This is what many people run away from in life thereby limiting the growth of whatever they do in life. It does not matter where you are today physically and spiritually, you must still move towards further growth.
Sometimes we feel we have reached a place in our spiritual walk with God that we no longer need to grow deeper in the Lord. During such period God will allow trials to come our way and our response during this period will either make or mar our destiny. God has a purpose for every trial that comes our way; He has the power to work things out for your good. God allows the test of life to come our way in order to bring out the best in us, while Satan tempts us to bring out the worst in us and pull us down. James was saying in our text for today that, you should not be surprise by the trials that you face. Problems are a way of life. They are not elective courses of life. They are required and compulsory courses that carry higher number of units and nobody is immune. The trials of life help you to become more mature. Trials of life help you to know which area of your life you need to work on.
