HOW YOU VIEW YOURSELF IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYONE ELSE (Thursday, 9th April 2026)
Text for Today: Gen. 37:18-36 “Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit, and we shall say, some wild beast has devoured him. We shall see what will become of his dream.”(vs.20).
How people treat you in life is not as important as your view of yourself. You need to develop, somehow, a huge amount of faith and confidence in yourself, because there’s a lot of rejection out there and you have to believe in yourself more than anyone else. Rejection is such a big cause of demonic bondage, and it’s one of the most common things to address in being set free. It seems that almost everybody is affected by rejection to some degree. It’s vital to understand how it works, and how to apply the cure. This is because; it attacks the very person that we are. It destroys our self-esteem, and attacks who we are and our purpose in life.
This is why it is one of the most common tools the devil will use to destroy a person’s life. God never wanted us to feel rejected or abandoned. He desires for you to know who you really are, and realize how deeply rejection has a way of destroying a person’s life in a way that few other things can. The sad fact is that the number of people who are affected by rejection is staggering. If we want to be all that God has created us to be, then overcoming rejection and its effects is vital and absolutely essential. I take rejection as someone blowing whistle in my ear to wake me up and get going, rather than retreat. From our text for today, Joseph was rejected by his blood brothers, yet he became his dream, don’t allow the devil to stop you in anyway. At any point you sense a spirit telling you that, you can’t become your dream, you must engage in spiritual warfare to silence such.
