I Will Not Carry The Burden Of A Curse I Know Nothing About
Text for Today: 2 Sam. 24:10-17 “Let Your hand, I pray, be against me and my father’s house.” (vs. 17c).
Becoming spiritually violent is one of the virtues every believer must possess to make his mark on earth. I often say to them in our church that, even when a child of God cries to God for help, the help he will get from God will be put inside some forms of responsibilities.
That is why whoever is practically lazy will never get any help from God because he will simply discard the responsibility that will produce his help. As we consider the final lap of our discussion on dealing with the altar of Baal in our father’s house, these are some of the salient things you need to know.
(i) God has given you a mandate to bind and to lose. Matt. 16:19.
(ii) Do not cast away your confidence for it has a great reward. Heb. 10:35.
(iii) You must not permit anything that is not of God in your life. Ex. 22:18, Matt 15:13.
(iv) You must not look unto men but unto Jesus who will tell you how and what to pray for- Heb 4:15-16, Heb 12:2, Luke 12:12. John 15:25-26.
(v) You must listen to your commander in-chief. Joshua 5:13-15.
(vi) You must submit to God’s leadership. Isa 48:17-19.
(vi) You must know that anytime you are ready to pray; God is ready to act. Isa 65: 24.
Then after all of these, you must now engage in warfare prayers consistently. These are prayers that you can wage against powers or strongholds attaching themselves to you through your link with your ancestors.
They contribute a lot in shaping and affecting your destiny. You shall be victorious in Jesus name.

- I cancel any agreement made by my ancestor with demonic forces.
- I reject any spiritual marriage with dark spirits e.g. water spirits.
- I refuse to carry the burden of the curse I know nothing about.
- Father, take me to where no one has ever gotten to in my family.
