MISTAKES ARE NATURAL PARTS OF EVERY WORTHWHILE ENDEAVOR (Wednesday, 10th December 2025)

Text for Today: Luke 22:54-62 “But Peter said, man I do not know what you are saying, immediately, while he was still speaking the rooster crowded.” (vs. 60).

Past mistakes are opportunities that must propel you into your destiny, if you can manage it with wisdom. Mistakes are part of growing and the most honorable thing is not to ever make mistakes but to respond to them when you do make them, then follow through and do your best to make the wrong thing right. Mistakes are natural parts of every worthwhile endeavor. If someone refuses to support you as you grow because of your past mistakes, they are now the one that’s making mistakes. Holding on to the unchangeable past is a waste of energy and serves no purpose in creating a better day ahead. If someone continuously judges you by your past mistakes, holds it against you, and refuses to forgive you, you might have to repair your present and future by leaving them behind.

From our text for today, when Peter made a mistake by denying Jesus Christ three times, he didn’t kill himself because of the guilt unlike what Judas Iscariot did after he betrayed Jesus. If you will be composed and do the right thing, you will come out of whatever mistake you made stronger. Does it surprise you that the same Peter, who denied Jesus, was the one that was given the responsibility of leading the apostles after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If he had gone down with his mistake, that would never have happened. Don’t let mistakes put your back on the ground, make good use of them as you move higher in the ladder of life. See you on the top.

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Luke 15:11-24.
