Core Message

=> When a reward gets delayed for too long, the person who has been waiting for it will even forget about it.

=> Initially, when the person is waiting for it with eagerness, strength, and excitement, when it gets delayed, the excitement begins to wane.

=> The more the reward is delayed, the more the excitement, joy, and expectations diminish, particularly, if that person is not strong in faith.

=> We have a covenant responsibility as children of God to engage in covenant and warfare prayers, so that our reward will not be delayed.

=> Reward is a function of time, and when it comes in its time, it is accompanied by its own glory.

What is Delay?

1. Delay means to postpone.

2. It means to slow down.

3. It means to detain.

4. It means lateness.

Areas where rewards can be delayed

1. Our marital lives

2. In our finances. Deuteronomy 28:12; Genesis 26:12; Ecclesiastes 6:2; Matthew 7:7.

3. Academic delay

Causes of delay

1. Sin – self-inflicted delay.

2. Your foundation

3. A curse

4. Wrong association

3. I command, evil altars to begin to work against every agent that raised it against me.

4. Any power, any force blocking my progress, hear the word of the Lord, give way now.

5. Any satanic agent using spiritual cobwebs to limit me, slow me down, and block me, what are you waiting for, fall down and die.

6. Every arrow of disappointment fired into my life, I command you, backfire!

7. Daniel 10:13 – I decree and declare, oh you Prince of the kingdom of Persia, delaying my reward, I judge you by fire.

8. My Father, that reward that I’ve been waiting for, oh Lord, by your mercy, release it before this year is over.

9. Every power ordained to make me rise and fall, what are you waiting for, scatter by fire! Die by fire!

10. Every power of my father’s house, of my mother’s house waging war against my glory, today, I judge you by fire.
