SHOW LOVE TO PEOPLE, TO KEEP REAPING LOVE (Monday, 21st September 2026)

Text for Today: 1 John 4:7-21 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God”. (vs. 7)

One of the easiest ways to receive something from others is to make similar things happen in the life of some people around you. Whoever cannot love as displayed and instructed by God cannot go far in the affairs of the kingdom. Love is the foundation and hallmark of the journey of man on earth. Out of love, God asked man to take charge of all He created for six days. Also, when man sinned, God once again displayed perfect and unconditional love by sacrificing His only begotten Son to redeem man back, John 3:16. Love that is perfect does not make the world go around; rather it is what makes the ride worthwhile.

A Christian that is connected to grace to demonstrate the perfect love of God to everyone around him will always act out of love, because by this singular act, he is perfecting and fulfilling the royal law according to the scripture (James 2:8). This is the God’s kind of love that He commanded us to have for one another. In our further study for today, loving is never easy especially the category of people we are to show it to. Yet it is easily the most powerful and positively enduring action possible. If you are feeling pain, do not take action that creates even more pain. Don’t try to cover darkness with darkness. Act out of love that is perfect, do something that will enable you to move forward, toward a more fulfilling reality. If you show love to people around you, God will also ensure that you remain under His blanket of love.
