HE HELD ON TO HIS DREAM EVEN IN THE PRISON (Saturday, 31st January 2026)

Text for Today: Gen. 40:1-15 “But remembers me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house.” (vs. 14).

Holding on to what you believe in is a sure way of seeing its fulfilment. It does not matter the size of your dream in life, it is attainable if you will give all that it requires to get it done. Dreams are meant to be achieved, not to be looked at without doing anything. Beloved, I want you to know that, how you see your dream determines what comes out of it for you at the end of the day. With just few hours to go in the first month of this great year, you can’t afford to watch your dreams unfulfilled. You must visualize that you have already achieved your goal.

You must believe in advance that you will reach your goal no matter what, because as long as you believe that success is assured, you will be sure to make the maximum effort towards achieving your goal. Joseph kept on repeating his dreams in great detail. In his mind, they were already a reality that existed firmly in the mental world; all that was left for him to do was to bring them into the physical plain. From our text for today, even while Joseph was in the prison, he never lost hope over his dream and that was why he appealed to the Chief Butler to remember him when it is well with him. He didn’t see himself as a failure as regards his dreams, and he became his dream eventually. We have to change our way of thinking and start thinking about our dream as a reality, because only by living with this reality will we give ourselves over completely to the task of actualizing it in this physical world. You will fulfill your dreams for this year in the name of Jesus.

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Philip. 3:12-16.
