TELL OTHERS ABOUT THE GREAT ACTS OF GOD (Sunday, 14th June 2026)
Text for Today: Philem. 1:1-7 “That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” (vs. 6).
Don’t be ashamed of the story of your walk and relationship with God, it will inspire others. Sharing our stories is a vital part of doing life together. The disciples shared their stories and changed the world, not because they were extraordinary men, but because they told the world about an extraordinary God. Do you want to know how you can understand and receive every blessing God has for you? The answer is found in our text for today, Philemon 1:6 in God’s WORD Translation which says: “As you share the faith you have in common with others, I pray that you may come to have a complete knowledge of every blessing we have in Christ.”
The sixth thing that makes faith grow is, SHARE YOUR FAITH WITH OTHERS. The Message Bible translation of 1 Chronicles 16:8-9 says: “Thank God! Call out his Name! Tell the whole world who he is and what he’s done! Sing to him! Play songs for him! Broadcast all his wonders!” When our favorite footballer does something remarkable, we want to talk with all our friends about his/her accomplishments, particularly if it happens to be Ronaldo or Messi, when they when still in their peak. When our favorite team wins the big game, we want to brag on them. You hear people say Up Blues, Gunners for life or Up Man U. When we’re recognized on our jobs, we want to tell all our friends about it. There is nothing wrong about the various scenarios I’ve just listed, unless, we testify about everybody or everything else except our great God and our faith in Him. Share your testimony to encourage others.
