THE STATUS QUO NEVER REMAINS THE SAME AFTER AN ENCOUNTER (Sunday, 25th October 2026)
Text for Today: John 9:1-27 “Now as Jesus passed by He saw a man who was blind from birth.” (vs.1).
Whenever a man encounters the power and glory of God, it is not possible for the status quo to remain the same; there will definitely be a shift and turnaround. Such was the case of the man that was born blind from our text for today, who experienced a change of story after he had an encounter with Jesus. One of the sense organs that God gave to man is the eye, and it is very important. Nothing is as beautiful as sight. With sight you have memories. With sight you can behold the wonders of creation. Sight gives you the freedom of choice that is, the kind of food to eat, cloth to wear, films to watch and so on.
The importance of sight cannot be exhausted in this topic. That tells you the importance of sight and how valuable it is to man. Now imagine a man without sight. This is the pathetic story of agony of the man from our text for today. This means he never had the opportunity to see light from the day of his birth; he needed other people’s assistance to make choice of what to do in life. He lived at the mercy of people. He was totally barred from choices. He lived by people choices. But a day came that he met with destiny. An event took place that changed the course of his life. I prophesy to you that an event that will change the course of your destiny will happen in Jesus’ name! In a nutshell what this man was incapacitated of doing over the years became a thing of the past after he met with Jesus. May you also experience the encounter that will turn things around for good this month in Jesus’ name.
You are a Champion!
