When You Stop Believing, Hope Fades Away
Text for Today: Job 14:1-9 “For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again.” (vs. 7).
As long as you feel pain you are still alive; as long as you make mistakes you’re still human, and as long as you keep trying there’s still hope. Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.
No matter how difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. When the world says give up, hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”
Beloved, I want you to know that, when you stop believing, hope fades away. Always believe in yourself and hope for a better future. When you feel like hope is gone, look inside you and be strong and you’ll finally see the truth-that a hero lies in you.
No matter the situation around you; no matter the problems and challenges facing you, if you have hope in God, things will definitely turn around. I like to challenge you this morning that, regardless of the situation and circumstance in which you find yourself, let your song be: “I know that I can make, I know that I can stand; No matter what may come my way; My life is in your hands.”
When you confess positively even in a negative condition/environment, you will always be making God happy, and putting the devil to shame. Let there be a living hope in you that things will surely get better.
As a covenant child of God, your life should be radiating in that great hope. Beloved, I like you to know that God never leaves you alone. He always cares about what you are feeling.
As long as you rely on Him, He will surely bring that thing to pass. Remember all that Job passed through, his hope in God was strong.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Gen. 21:1-7.
