WHOEVER PLAYS WITH TIME IS ACTUALLY PLAYING AWAY HIS DESTINY (Friday, 17th April 2026)
Text for Today: Ephes. 5:6-17 “Be very careful, then, how you live; not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” (vs.15-16, NIV).
Whatever God has given you power to do in life, no other person will ever do it for you. One’s greatest challenge is to control oneself. Self-discipline is the ability to make yourself do what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not. Very many times when I look at some young men and women whom I witnessed their growing up in life, and the level they have attained within such a short period, I am amazed at what God could do with a life. However, on the other hand, I have also observed some young men and women who have remained on the same spot for several years. Having sat down to critically examined what truly influenced the state these two categories of people found themselves in life, one of the things I discover is that the second group failed to invest their time wisely.
And this takes us to the fourth wonders of self-control which says, PEOPLE WITH SELF-CONTROL STICK TO THEIR SCHEDULE. If you don’t determine how you will spend your time, then others will decide for you, and it will bring no good results. There are many people out there, who will help you to waste your time if you don’t stick to your daily schedule. Whoever plays with time is actually playing away his destiny. Anytime or hour you waste today can never be recovered back, since time waits for no man. I charge you to invest your time wisely by sticking to your daily schedule. Make deliberate effort to plan your schedule every day and stick to it, so that situation and circumstances will not distort it for you with things that bring no value.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Eccles. 8:1-9.
