EXERCISE YOUR FAITH BY YOUR ACTIONS (Wednesday, 10th June 2026)

Text for Today: Jam. 2:14-22 “So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).” AMP. (vs. 17).

Whatever good virtue you abandon will rotten and waste away one day. Someone said and I quote, “You block your dreams when you allow your fears to grow bigger than your faith through inactions.” The situation that will stretch your faith most will be those times when life seems to be falling apart. Whatever virtue that is given or received, which we refuse to nurture will waste away one day. We all need to imbibe the ability of nurturing all the spiritual gifts we have received from God for maximum productivity. As we continue with our study on growing our faith, the second thing is, EXERCISE YOUR FAITH BY YOUR ACTIONS.

Here are some thoughts you need to ponder on in exercising your faith. First, what you do in life, will reflect what you’ve learned. John 8:38 in the Amplified Bible says: “I tell the things which I have seen and learned at My Father’s side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father.” Second, our greatest desire should be for our deeds to reflect His instructions. Psalm 119:5 in the New Living Translation says: “Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees!” Third, faith must be an action or it will always be inactive. James 2:17 in the Amplified Bible says: “So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).” Fourth, you will be rewarded for the actions you take and consequences when you don’t. Proverbs 24:12. Fifth, you’ll be paid for your faithful actions. Revelation 22:12.

You are a Champion!
