HE WOULD HAVE REMAINED UNNOTICED IF HE HAD NOT CONQUERED GOLIATH (Tuesday, 25th August 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Sam. 16:1-13 “And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here? Then he said, there remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” (vs. 11).
Until a man rises up to take responsibility for his destiny, he will continue to live in the shadow of his real self. The second reason why you must confront and defeat the strongman is, EVIL STRONGMAN PULLS PEOPLE DOWN AND MAKES THEM INSIGNIFICANT. David remained forgotten and despised in the backside of the wilderness even by his own father (1 Sam. 16:11), until the day he showed up at the battle zone-the cutting-edge place, and floored Goliath. After that, none other than the king asked him, “Whose son are you:” (1 Sam. 17:58) long story short, he eventually became King Saul’s armour bearer, Army Commander, the King’s son-in-law (a good pay pack, don’t work for nothing) and later the King of Israel.
When the strongman dies, people begin to notice you and favour flows in. If David had remained with the sheep all through his life, he would never have been noticed, and neither would he have become a great blessing to the whole land. The evil strongman specializes in keeping people below their capacity and hiding them away from their land of breakthrough. I decree into your life today that, any force or power that may want to hide you from your land of glory shall be judged by fire in the name of Jesus. Even when some forces want to keep you in the dungeon of life, you must revolt and resist them spiritually through warfare prayers and some covenant steps. Your voice shall be heard in the name of Jesus.
