TEAM SPIRIT IS A FORCE THAT NO POWER CAN BREAK (Thursday, 17th September 2026)
Text for Today: Eccles. 4:7-12 “Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (vs. 12).
Those who give regard to unity and team work wherever they find themselves in life always come out top of any given assignment that is committed into their hands. On the other hand, men who don’t value team spirit always end up being frustrated because they will never attain their goals in life. Togetherness, team spirit is a force that no power can break as long as it remains intact. What this implies is that when we are together no force will be strong enough to break us apart. Jesus was saying in the scripture that a house divided against itself cannot stand, so also our text for today makes us to understand the power of unity.
As children of God and as a people in the same household of faith, it does not matter your tribe, race or denomination, as long as we are members of the body of Christ there must be unity. When we join forces together, no weapon or arrow of the enemy will be able to affect us negatively. Many prayers are not answered because we are not united in the spirit. In Genesis 11, when a group of people came together under a singular purpose, God Himself said, nothing that they purpose to do shall be withheld from them, because they were one. However, the work stopped the moment there was no team spirit among them. When we are one, the devil will be no match for us. Husbands and wives should stay together, children of the same parent should be united, members of the same church must display team spirit, and Christians all over the world should unite together.
