HE COULD NOT BE STOPPED BECAUSE HE PUT HIS TRUST IN GOD (Tuesday, 29th September 2026)
Text for Today: Gen. 50:14-21 “But as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day to save many people alive.” (vs. 20).
Some men out of arrogance and wickedness lift themselves so high and conclude that you have no future based on their own assessment of you, forgetting that God Almighty is the only being who holds our future in His hands. You need not to be afraid whenever a mortal being who is not certain of tomorrow intimidates you and says you are going nowhere. Such was the case of Joseph’s brothers who said categorically in Gen. 37:20 that, “We shall see what will become of his dreams,” forgetting that the fulfillment of a man’s dream is solely in the hands of God, not wicked souls.
After God helped him to get to the throne in a strange land, according to our text for today, Joseph declared to his brothers that even though they meant evil for him, hoping to put an end to his life, God rescued him and made his dream come through. They were shocked when Joseph revealed himself to them; remember they told him earlier that he was dead when he asked them. I decree today that, anyone who wishes you dead shall bow before you in the name of Jesus. Joseph could not be stopped because he put his trust in God all through. Beloved, once you put your trust in God, no matter what your detractors may say, you are on your way to the top. I decree that every evil any one has done against you since this year started shall all work together for your good in the name of Jesus. You will end this year strong and well in Jesus name.
