=> Nobody was born as a hero. We were all born as ordinary men and women.

=> In life, the things we do, the steps we take, and the relationships we engage in determine what we become.

=> Your present level cannot hinder God’s agenda for your life.

Case Studies

1. Gideon

=> God called Gideon a mighty man of valor because of what He intended to do with his life, not because Gideon was a huge man. God called him by the name of the next level He intends to take him to, and what he will become in life.

=> Gideon was an ordinary man who was afraid. But, out of an ordinary man, God brought out a man of valor.

2. Obed-Edom and the ark of the Lord

=> Before the ark of the Lord got to Obed-Edom’s house, he was a nobody. 30,000 choice men were assembled to go and bring back the Ark of God back to Israel, but he was not fit or qualified to be selected.

=> But something happened along the way that made them bring the Ark to his house, and when the ark got to his house, his life turned around within 3 months.

=> Judges 6:2

1. Regardless of whatever may be happening, never stop crying to the Lord in prayer. Cry to God for help, and when He hears your cries, He will step in. Exodus 3:7-8; Judges 6:6-8.

=> God doesn’t respond to tears; He responds to what you say in prayer.

=> After they cried to God, God located Gideon. When the Israelites cried in Exodus, God located Moses.

=> Whatever God will do, He will locate a man to use.

2. See yourself the same way God sees you. Judges 6:12.

3. Be ready to follow God’s template. Judges 7:2-7.

=> Those who jettison God’s template and use their own ideas return as failures.

4. Daily desire His presence to go with you. Judges 8:28.

=> When God backs you up, no force of man can limit you.
