DON’T BE AFRAID OF YOUR FLAWS, BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF (Monday, 20th April 2026)
Text for Today: Hab. 3:14-17 “Though the fig tree may not blossom…Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation”. (vs.17).
Those who reject the way God made them, will never make anything good out of life. Accepting your flaws is just one step towards accepting yourself as you are. The task completes when you start loving yourself with those flaws as you trust God to help you through. There are things no one else can do for you, but only you alone, one of which is the ability to take yourself as you are. And the day you relinquish the responsibility God has given you to do, to another to do for you, you have just signed up for a life of frustration and depression. In life, what some people ought to do for themselves are what they accuse others of not doing for them. The lamentation of such people will never end.
When we’re feeling incomplete, we tend to go out looking for somebody else to complete us. Beloved, what you need to realize is that while a close friend or lover can add beautiful dimensions to your life, YOU are the one responsible for your own fulfillment. Only you can complete yourself. Nobody else can provide your missing pieces, and to believe otherwise is to succumb to a lifetime of feeling broken, as every relationship you enter will eventually end in hopeless disappointment. What God has given you power to do no other person will do it for you. It doesn’t matter what you are unable to do right today, rejoice and give it a trial again. Everything you have not gotten right in life simply means you have not yet discovered the key that unlocks it. Don’t give up on it, rise up and lay hold of your destiny and make your mark on the sands of time.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Is. 41:15-20.
